3D verification
utilises the latest in facial recognition technology to provide a clocking
on system that will verify whether somebody presenting themselves to
the system is the person that they say they are. This can be integrated
into a range of access control solutions if required, or simply used
to provide accurate time and attendance information.
A range of trigger devices can be used with the
system, such as a PIN number, proximity card or swipe card. This trigger
acts as a unique identifier to a record in a database, so that faces
are only checked against a single record, ensuring that the person is
who they say they are.
The system is presented in two aesthetic, wall-mounted
units, as illustrated by the images opposite.
There are a number of distinct benefits to using
3D Verification:
- Enhanced accuracy when verifying that a person
is who they say they are - very important in high security / high risk
environments.
- It is robust to changes in environment - for example,
it works equally well in bright daylight or darkness!
- It is robust to the angle at which a face is presented
to the system.
- It can be used in conjunction with access control
systems, and can be easily integrated into a wide range of existing
industry infrastructure.
- The system is presented in aesthetic wall mounted
units, which are unobtrusive and do not require environmental changes.
- The system provides an inherent ‘liveness’ test—it
cannot be duped by dummies, video or photographic images.
- The security threshold (which determines at what
level a person is accepted or rejected) can be adjusted to meet security
demands specific to your organisation.
- The system is flexible - it can be used effectively
in networked and stand-alone environments.
- Aurora can develop the technology to provide bespoke
solutions to suit individual customer’s requirements.
- Clear financial savings can be made on payroll
and therefore can reduce incidences of fraud; It is quicker to use
than old clock card systems—verification of an individual takes
just a few seconds.
